First, insert the Dnet
Internet Services installation CD into your computer's
CD-ROM drive. If the setup program does not automatically start within
a few seconds then click the Start button and then click Run. In the
space provided type, "D:\setup.exe" (where 'D' is the letter
of your CD-ROM drive.) |

Once
the setup program begins you will see the license agreement. Read
over the agreement carefully and then click the OK button to proceed. |

The next window
you will see is a welcome screen. It briefly explains that you will
be setting up some new software on your computer. Click Next to continue. |

In this step you
get to choose which of two different Internet browsers you would like
to use. Use the drop-down menu to choose either Microsoft Internet
Explorer 5.5 or Netscape Communicator 4.73. |

This window tells
you in which folder on your hard drive that the Dnet software will
be installed. Usually the default folder will suffice and you can
click Next. |

This window is a
file copy status window. It shows you how much time is left before
the file copy process is completed. |

After the files
are copied you will have to restart your computer. Click OK on this
window to do so. |

This window asks
if you will be creating a new account or simply installing your existing
Dnet account on another computer. In this case, leave the dot next
to "I need to create an account using Online Signup" and
click next. |

If you have to dial
any special digits to access an outside line or to disable call waiting
then enter them into the appropriate boxes on this window. If not
then leave the boxes blank or the dial process will not be completed
properly. |

After clicking OK
on step eight you will see this dialing progress screen. |

Once connected the
computer will download files needed to complete the setup process.
You will see this window during the process. |

You will choose
an access number that is local for your calling area in this window.
To make it easier to find a number, enter your area code in the first
blank and click the Search button. Then you can drop down the list
of numbers in your area code and choose the one that is local for
you. Please remember that it is your responsibility to know which
numbers are local and which ones would be long distance. |

This window allows
you to specify any special digits that may have to be dialed before
the actual access number. (ie. A '9' to access an outside line.) You
will be shown a confirmation window to make sure you have selected
the correct access number. |

Please enter the
requested information in the correct fields in this window. It is
not necessary to have both a day and evening phone number. |

In this window,
enter the CD and referral codes from the back of your Dnet CD sleeve.
Also enter your mother's maiden name. We will ask you for this in
case you ever forget your password and have to call us. |

Choose the access
account plan you wish to sign up for in this window. |

Enter your credit
or check card information in this window. Make sure you enter the
information exactly as it appears on your credit card statement to
avoid problems with the approval process. |

Type your full name
and your desired account username and password in this window. If
you want to see your password to make sure you're typing it correctly
then take the check mark out of the Hide Password box. After you click
Next you will see a window confirming that you are ready to proceed.
Click Yes on that window. |

The next window
shows the status of the creation of your new Dnet account. |

Once your account
has been successfully added you will see this window. When you click
Finish you'll see a window telling you that the Dnet software will

it! You've completed all of the steps and your new Dnet account is
ready to be used. To get started, click Dial in the upper left hand
corner of the Internet Connection Center. |
