Set Up E-mail on an Android Device
 
  1. Tap the menu icon.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Add account.
    1. Key in your email address.
  4. Enter password
    1. Tap Password and key in the password for your email account.
    2. Tap Next.
    3. If the display tells you that your email account has been set up, follow the instructions on the display to select more settings and finish the setup.
  5. Select server type
    1. Tap POP3 or IMAP account.
  6. Enter username
    1. Key in the username for your email account.
  7. Enter incoming server
    1. Tap the field below "POP3 server" or "IMAP server" and key mail.<domain>
    2. Key in email.dnet.net as your incoming server.
  8. Enter incoming port
    1. IMAP: 143
    2. POP3: 110
  9. Turn deletion of email on server on or off
    1. Tap the drop down list below "Delete email from server".
    2. Tap Never or When I delete from Inbox.
    3. Tap Next.
  10. Enter outgoing server
    1. Tap the field below "POP3 server or "IMAP server" and key email.dnet.net
  11. Enter outgoing port
    1. Tap the field below "Port" and key in 587
  12. Select settings for retrieval of new email
    1. Tap the drop down list below "Peak schedule".
    2. Tap Never or the required period.
    3. Tap the drop down list below "Off-peak schedule".
    4. Tap Never or the required period.
  13. Turn synchronisation of email on or off
    1. Tap Sync Email to turn synchronisation on or off.
  14. Turn email notification on or off
    1. Tap Notify me when email arrives to turn the function on or off.
    2. Tap Next.
  15. Enter account name
    1. Key in the required name.
  16. Enter sender name
    1. Tap the field below "Your name (displayed on outgoing messages)" and key in the required sender name.
  17. Finish setup
    1. Tap Done.
    2. Wait while your tablet retrieves new email.
  18. Return to the home screen
    1. Tap the home icon to return to the home screen.
